Real Estate Services Agent 1 - HDR

Primary Responsibilities

In the role of Real Estate Services Agent 1, we'll count on you to:

• Provide pre-negotiation project, parcel and property owner due diligence and non-complex negotiations for acquisition of rights relative to public or private projects as assigned
• Review appraisals and just compensation; verify parcel on right-of-way plans or plats; verify property owners and the extent of interests; prepare offer packages; and maintain complete and detailed records/files with owner contacts, maps, drawings, exhibits and detailed progress reports
• Perform activities to support Real Property Projects such as property assessments, risk analysis, acquisition of needed rights, occupant relocation, property management, construction coordination and utility relocation/coordination
• Ensure schedule and budget performance, while complying with federal, state, and local laws and regulations as well as client's policies and procedures
• Assist with business development
• Perform other duties as needed

Real Estate Services Agent 2 - HDR

• Coordinate right-of-way and utility issues for clients - generally related to construction projects
• Be proficient with federal, state and industry laws and regulations such as FHWA, FAA, FTA, FRA, FERC and Uniform Relocation Act
• Perform activities to support Real Property Projects such as property assessments, risk analysis, acquisition of needed rights, occupant relocation, property management, construction coordination and utility relocation/coordination

• Perform entry-level technical services for right-of-way projects as required by the assignment
• Maintain data and communication flow, supported by strong editorial and verbal skills

• Train in job-appropriate aspects of right-of-way industry including title research, negotiations, relocation assistance and eminent domain support

Real Estate Services Tech 2 - HDR

In the role of Real Estate Services Tech 2, we'll count on you to:

•Perform mid-level technical services for right-of-way projects as required by the assignment, including project coordination for internal Project Manager and clients
•Perform order and review of title, title curative duties, and detailed property research assistance; prepare reports and acquisition and relocation document packages that are certification-ready
•Create and maintain budget and invoicing spreadsheet
•Oversee schedule and budget in support of Project Manager
•Coordinate closing/settlement/condemnation packages and document recordings
•Create and maintain tracking and parcel status database, and client reports
•Demonstrate additional specialized skills and background as necessary for specific clients and projects
