Summary: Review title reports and identify issues that create an encumbrance on the title. Review appraisal reports and answer property owner questions concerning the methodology of establishing value. Negotiate property rights for the construction of public works projects proposed by Cities, Counties, Utility Districts, and the State of Texas. Assist in the preparation of initial notice letters, offer letters, memorandum of agreements/sales contracts, final offer letters and other documents required to secure clear title on a property. Work cooperatively with title companies to schedule property closings. Review construction plans sufficiently to explain project impacts on a particular property.

Real Estate Appraiser/Appraiser Trainee - Atrium Real Estate Services

Austin, TX

Summary: Atrium Real Estate Services is seeking to add an additional Texas Certified General Appraiser and/or an Appraisal Trainee to our firm. Our office is located in Austin, Texas, serving areas throughout the state. A majority of work completed is for condemning authorities for right of way and easement acquisitions with additional work completed for banks and private entities. Experience within eminent domain projects is not required but preferred. This is a potential commission-based or salaried position, which will be discussed based on experience and licensing. 

Important qualifications: 

  • TALCB certified general appraiser license or appraiser trainee license
  • Proficient experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to travel throughout Texas for property meetings
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
